Wix · Squarespace · GoDaddy · old hostsStuck on Wix, Squarespace or GoDaddy's builder? Tired of a slow host, a locked-in developer or monthly fees that keep going up? We move your site to WordPress or better hosting, carry over your content and SEO, and handle the bits that usually go wrong, like email and redirects.
We've been moving small business websites around since 1999. You'll own your site, your domain and your hosting when we're done.
Why people move
Site builders make it hard to do anything they didn't plan for, and hard to leave. WordPress you own outright.
Builders limit what you can change for SEO. Moving opens up proper page speed, schema and URL control.
Builder plans, add-ons and app fees add up. Good hosting plus WordPress is often cheaper over a few years.
What we move
Pages, blog posts, images and forms rebuilt in WordPress, with every old Wix address redirected.
Content and blog exported and cleaned up, design rebuilt, and SEO settings carried over.
GoDaddy's builder doesn't export, so we rebuild the site properly and keep the domain where it is or move it.
Same site, better home. We move WordPress sites to faster, safer hosting with backups. See hosting plans.
Moving an online store between platforms, with products, customers and order history where possible. See WooCommerce and Shopify.
Domain transfers and DNS changes done so your email keeps working the whole time. See business email setup.
How it works
The goal is that your customers never notice, except that the new site is faster.
We list every page, form, image and setting on the old site, plus what it ranks for on Google.
Built on a private staging copy so your live site keeps running. You review it before anything switches.
Every old address gets a 301 redirect to its new page, so Google and old links land in the right place.
DNS changes timed so email keeps working, then we test forms, tracking and speed on the live site.
We submit the new sitemap and watch for errors for the weeks after, fixing anything that pops up.
What usually goes wrong
Want a fresh look while we're moving it? That's a website redesign, and it's often worth doing both at once.
Common questions
Not if the redirects are done properly. Every old address needs a 301 redirect to its new page. That's the step most DIY moves skip, and it's the main thing we take care of.
It shouldn't. Email depends on your domain's DNS records, and we copy them over before anything switches. If your email is through Wix or GoDaddy, we'll move it to Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 first.
A small brochure site is usually a week or two. Bigger sites, blogs and online stores take longer. Your current site stays live the whole time.
Yes. You keep the same web address. We'll make sure the domain is registered in your name so you're never locked in again.
No, but it's usually the best fit for small businesses that want control and good SEO. For online stores, Shopify is often a better choice. We'll recommend what suits you.
It depends on the size of the site and where it's coming from. Small sites often fit in our $999 starter package. You'll get a fixed quote before we start.
